Shortly after its premiere, Amazon Prime Video made the decision to renew season two of its latest comedy sci-fi, ‘Upload’. Creator Greg Daniels credits his “great relationship with Amazon Studios” and the cast for the upcoming development of its newest season.
‘Upload’ is about the idea of uploading one’s consciousness to an afterlife once they die – however, this afterlife is virtual. Robbie Amell plays Nathan who dies in a car accident and decides to live in the virtual afterlife of his girlfriend’s (Allegra Edwards) family.
Going through development hell for almost three to four years, Daniels’s ‘Upload’ premiered on May 1st and garnered positive reviews from TV critics and viewers alike.
