Vox’s ‘Explained’ has plans to explore the uncertainties surrounding the novel coronavirus over the span of three episodes, premiering on April 26th.

‘Coronavirus, Explained’ will feature old interviews from a former episode that explained scientists’ efforts to prevent any signs of a pandemic. The newest episode was created in only two-and-a-half weeks, having used archival footage. Challenges were painted clear to the crew as the news surrounding the virus kept becoming different each and every day — thus, they relied on the speeches of public health authorities and politicians as to what they know and later on gave predictions to what would occur.

The show will be hosted by J.K. Simmons and will be three episodes long. The next two episodes will premiere in the summer, one being about the developing vaccine, the other about how people can deal with the situation underway.
