‘Filthy Animals’ will be starring and executive produced by Rashida Jones.

The team behind Adult Swim’s ‘Robot Chicken’ will be developing an animated science fiction comedy for Quibi. Nikolai and Simon Haas, Carey O’Donnell and Johnny Smith created ‘Filthy Animals’, and Stoopid Buddy Stoodios will be producing. The series will tell the story of Sunny Day, a lonely and pretentious twelve-year-old (voiced by Jones), who befriends Cruz, a crude and selfish cat.

Quibi debuted last Monday with 50 starter shows, served in 10-minute or less episodes. Production dates or a premiere date for ‘Filthy Animals’ has not yet been announced.
