‘All Rise’ is the first and only scripted series to create an episode set during the coronavirus pandemic.

CBS’ first-year legal drama will focus on Judge Lola Carmichael (Simone Missick) conducting a virtual bench trial. The episode will also feature Emily (Jessica Camacho) as the defense attorney and Mark (Wilson Bethel) as the prosecuting attorney. The episode is scheduled to air May 4th, and will utilize FaceTime, Zoom, and WebEx, just as in real life.

Executive producer Greg Spottiswood said, “It’s a unique chance for our All Rise family to band together — in our different homes, even cities — to tell a story about resilience, justice and the power of community.”
