A Letter from the CEO Regarding COVID-19

To the TV Wasteland readers-

These past few weeks have been the most challenging I’ve seen in my lifetime. This pandemic has affected everyone in different ways. When I first started this website, I had never dreamed we would have to deal with something of this scale.

Our reporters, critics, writers, executives, editors and every role in between have been working as hard as they can to ensure that the site remains running, but we have had to delay and postpone some of our big projects. We’ll be trying to reschedule these throughout the next few months as the COVID-19 situation continues . As for our day to day operations, we’ll be working on a slightly modified schedule, but trying our best to maintain regularity.

I know that the world is very uncertain right now, but I can assure you that we do not take our roles in journalism lightly. TV Wasteland will continue to offer updates on the entertainment world, and specifically how COVID-19 is affecting it. In a world of isolation, I couldn’t be prouder to be heading an organization based on television and bringing people together.

We all hope that this situation finds an end soon, and for now please be sure to follow the protocol of social distancing. Stay in your homes, wash your hands, and remember the bigger picture. Everything you do is helping us flatten the curve. Additionally, take care of yourself beyond preventing physical symptoms. Reach out to people you love, check up on them, and do what you need to do to stay mentally healthy. Isolation isn’t easy for anyone.

We hope you continue to read and love the content we put out, and we’ll keep updating you on our publishing as the situation progresses.

Thank you,

Ryan Flaherty, CEO TV Wasteland
