For all of the nostalgic fans of the animated cartoon, ‘The Proud Family’, Disney+ will be reviving the show – this time, with the characters all grown up.
Eighteen years after the series’s premiere, the revival entitled ‘The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’ was greenlit by the streaming service. Production for the show is currently ongoing at Disney Television Animation, with its former creators and executive producers reuniting.
The original voice cast will be reprising their roles with Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud, Tommy Davidson as Oscar Proud, Paula Jai Parker as Trudy Proud, Jo Marie Payton as Suga Mama, Karen Malina White as Dijonay Jones, Soleil Moon Frye as Zoey Howzer and Alisa Reyes as LaCienega Boulevardez.
Fans await the revival whilst also watching reruns of the original show on Disney+.
