Series creator Ryan Murphy has just announced that the well-known star from ‘Home Alone’ will be joining the franchise this season.

Murphy announced both the new and returning cast members via his Instagram. Macaulay Culkin has been cast alongside Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, who were mainstays of the series before missing out on Season 9. His spot on ‘American Horror Story’ will mark Culkin’s first regular part on a live action TV series, as up until this point he has primarily guest-starred in several different shows.

Earlier this year, ‘American Horror Story’ was given a three-season renewal, meaning that it will last through Season 13. However, a theme, plot, or release date for Season 10 has not yet been announced.
