NBC ‘Superstore’ Renewed for Sixth Season

Another season of the popular TV series has been set to air 2020-2021.

‘Superstore’ is currently tied with ‘The Good Place’ for the spot of NBC’s most popular digital show. It averages about 3.8 million views within seven days, and a tremendous 4.1 million views with the addition of a few weeks of delayed viewing.

On Tuesday, co-presidents of scripted programming at NBC, Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta, remarked that they are excited to see what this renewal will bring to the table for ‘Superstore’ and NBC. “We’re thrilled that ‘Superstore’ continues to speak to many important and topical issues while simultaneously being hilarious,” the women commented to the press.

‘Superstore’ was created by Justin Spitzer, who also works as one of the several executive producers. It stars America Ferrera, Ben Feldman, and Lauren Ash. The premiere date for Season 6 has not yet been announced.
