Netflix abruptly announces the cancellation of any further seasons of their popular show ‘The Crown.’ Earning 26 Emmy nominations, the show seemed to have been on a roll, the creator Peter Morgan expecting a sixth season as well, but due to budget shortcomings this was not made possible.

The show will end with the title of being one of the six longest running Netflix original television series.
