This week, Netflix announced that the ice skating television series ‘Spinning Out’ has been canceled after only one season.
‘Spinning Out’, which starred Kaya Scodelario as a competitive singles skater who decides to become a pairs skater after a debilitating injury, received a 63% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes since its debut on January 1st. Described as “uneven, but mostly engrossing” by The Hollywood Reporter TV critic Robyn Bahr, the series ended on a cliffhanger that was going to be resolved in the second season.
The cancellation of ‘Spinning Out’ marks yet another Netflix original to be removed from streaming after only one season.
