The Lakers have been popular throughout the Los Angeles community for decades; HBO has decided to portray the highest peak in their careers as a television show.
Adam McKay of ‘Succession’ will head the series. He will envision the era of the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers and how they handled professionalism alongside their personal lives.
The series has been greenlit and will undergo a five-year contract.
The premiere is TBD.
