Halloween Costume Predictions: the Obvious and the Cult Favorites

Each year on the last day of October TV mania is translated into costumes, so here are our predictions for which shows will have the most buzz this Halloween.

Euphoria

The immediate teen sensation ‘Euphoria’ is sure to be the biggest costume this year among girls wanting to make an impression. The makeup alone has created an enormous internet sensation, but this Halloween we think the costumes are gonna be even more popular. Or, more specifically, the ‘Euphoria’ characters dressed as other characters- like Jules as Juliet from the 1996 Baz Luhrman film.

Stranger Things

Next up, the Netflix original ‘Stranger Things’. The mystery-drama is also likely to make waves this year, but since it’s not in its first season we bet it’ll be behind ‘Euphoria’. The third installment from this summer gave us even more options that last year with the addition of the “Scoops Ahoy” attendant uniform.

The Office

Even though it’s been off the air for over five years, we bet the Office will be back in 2019 (because of course it will). The fan base it’s managed to withstand through its end is sure to be back with their costumes of professional clothing and the name tag of their character.

Game of Thrones

The HBO fantasy beast GOT will definitely be big this year given its recent end. The only factor in the way of that would be fans’ anger of the ending of the final season- but is that enough to stop them from gluing plush dragons on their shoulders?

American Horror Story

AHS hasn’t been enormous in past years, but given the new 1980’s theme we think costumes will be far more in the mix. Who doesn’t want to dress up as Billie Lourd in cheetah print?

The Boys

This Amazon original is relatively new, so it’s hard to tell if it’ll take off this Halloween, but there’s a ton of options with all of the “supe” suits. Given that ‘The Boys’ was at the top of the charts for weeks, we bet there’ll be at least a few Homelanders and Starlights.
