Disney brought in an emotional appearance by the cast and creators of the Star Wars franchise, but as they say goodbye to one chapter, a new one is opening with live action television.

Disney released a multitude of information about Pedro Pascal starrer ‘The Mandalorian’ after remaining relatively quiet on the project. The first episode will drop on November 12, with more episodes coming weekly after that.
Ewan McGregor appeared at the Star Wars panel to announce that he will be returning to Disney to reprise his role of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
‘Star Wars: Clones Wars’ will return with a new season in February 2020.

An untitled prequel series of ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ has been announced, along with the cast which includes Alan Tudyk and Diego Luna. The show will follow the rebels in what is described to be a spy drama.

The Skywalker Era of Star Wars is officially coming to an end with ‘Rise of Skywalker’ which premieres December 20. Anthony Daniels summed up the emotional appearance, saying “what an ending. I can’t wait for you to share what we have all been doing all these months under J.J..” Although there wasn’t a full trailer, the team showed a sneak preview for what’s in store.
