Netflix’s eerie historical drama, Mindhunter, has been renewed for a season two that is set to premiere Friday.

The first season of the series was set in 1997, the very first days of criminal psychology and profiling, and the cast focuses on interviewing imprisoned serial killers in order to understand how they think. The cast later applies their knowledge in the field when they attempt to solve ongoing cases. Season two of the show jumps ahead a couple of years to focus on the Atlanta murders of 1979-1981.

The first season of Mindhunter came out in 2017 and had a total of 10 episodes.
