By Ryan Flaherty

The CW President Mark Pedowitz discussed the upcoming superhero crossover event ‘Crisis of Infinite Earths’, the ending of one of their largest shows, and the future of how streaming their shows will change.

Superhero Crossover Event

The network gave more details concerning their superhero crossover event, set to premiere in December and January with four nights of hero team-ups. ‘Crisis of Infinite Earths’ will now feature Batwoman, Black Lightning, Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and a special appearance by the voice actor of Batman in Batman: The Animated Series.

The 100

The science fiction series will end with its upcoming season 7, after 100 episodes have aired. President of the CW Mark Pedowitz says that the creator had always envisioned an end at season 7, saying “We’ve been very good at listening to our showrunner creators about the right time to end our series.”

Streaming The CW Shows

The CW has ended contracts with Netflix, and will now retain exclusive rights to stream upcoming series Batwoman, Katy Keene, and Nancy Drew. Going forward, the CW plans to keep exclusive rights to all of the upcoming seasons of their shows for CWTV.com and the CW app.
