The WarnerMedia streaming service has ordered ten episodes, each an hour long, of the fan favorite teen drama.
The new series will be written and produced by the original team- Joshua Safran and Josh Schwartz. The untitled project will take place eight years after the events of ‘Gossip Girl’, and center around a new group of high school students. The twist this time around is the prescence of social media, and how the city of New York has evolved in recent years.
