The Super Guide to ComiCon 2019

San Diego ComiCon is pulling out all of the stops for this year’s festival and it’s become very hard to navigate- so here’s an in depth guide to everything you may want to see (or follow).

All Things Anniversary

Warner Brothers Preview Night (6 pm, July 17- Ballroom 20)

See exclusive premieres of upcoming Warner Brothers shows including the CW’s highly anticipated Batwoman and Epix’s Pennyworth- both celebrating Batman’s 80th anniversary.

Batman Beyond: 20th Anniversary (12:15 pm, July 18- Hall H)

This enormous panel includes everyone involved with the animated series ‘Batman Beyond’, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Panelists include producers, casting director, director, writers, and the stars. Besides hearing about how they put their legendary show together, there’s said to be prizes and announcements involved.

SpongeBob’s Big Birthday Blowout! (1:45 pm, July 18- Room 6A)

Celebrate 20 years of SpongeBob squarepants on Nickelodeon! With 12 seasons of the show, a film on the way, a prequel in the works, AND a brand new special, this panel is bound to be spectacular.

Parks & Recreation 10th Anniversary (4:30 pm, July 19- Horton Grand Theatre)

Join the cast and creators of the hit NBC comedy ten years after it premiered to celebrate the small town of Pawnee.

American Dad! (1 pm, July 20- Ballroom 20)

The Smith family is headed to ComiCon for first look at the new season, but stay for the 20th anniversary celebration of Family Guy with Seth McFarlane, Alex Borstein, and Mike Henry.

Join the cast, writers, and creators for a chat about the Netflix original series.

Join the cast and executive producers of the Syfy series to talk about their series.

Teen Titans Go! (3:15 pm, July 18- Room 6DE)

The hit animated series returns to San Diego for another year of previews, discussions, and laughs.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (3:30 pm, July 18- Hall H)

Let the Marvel extravaganza begin! The cast, crew, and executive producer Jed Whedon are all trekking out to sunny San Diego to host a panel in the biggest space in the house.

Cobrai Kai: Past Present, and Future (4:45 pm, July 18- Ballroom 20)

The breakout YouTube original is headed to ComiCon this year to talk about their journey from the big screen to the small screen, and how they had to change for the younger generation.

Superstore (5:30 pm, July 18- Indigo Ballroom)

The NBC Comedy cast and creators will discuss their show (ready to premiere its fifth season!).

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (10:15 am, July 19- Room 6BCF)

The animated series will have panelists including the voice cast as well as executive producer.

DuckTales (11:45 am, July 19- Room 6A)

Join the cast and crew in a panel about the Disney Channel original series.

Fear the Walking Dead (12 pm, July 19- Hall H)

The entire cast and executive producers are taking the stage in Hall H for a talk about the ‘Walking Dead’ spinoff.

Stars Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Danai Gurira, Ryan Hurst and others will celebrate their nine seasons on air and what’s to come in the future.

Rick and Morty (1 pm, July 19- Indigo Ballroom)

The cast joins the executive producers and creators of the Adult Swim comedy to talk about the highly anticipated Season 4.

Legacies (3:15 pm, July 19- Room 6BCF)

The ‘Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Originals’ spinoff panel will feature the cast and creators.

Bob’s Burgers (4 pm, July 19- Indigo Ballroom)

Your favorite animated family is back! The cast and creators will give a preview of their new season, discuss their show, and don’t forget the audience Q&A.

The Terror: Infamy (4:45 pm, July 19- Room 6A)

Preview AMC’s second season of the hit anthology series with the cast and co-creators.

Archer (5 pm- July 19, Indigo Ballroom)

Join panelists Jon Benjiman, Aisha Tyler, Jessica Walter, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer, Amber Nash and Lucky Yates as well as executive producers for an unforgettable panel.

Game of Thrones (5:30 pm, July 19- Hall H)

Cast members Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Liam Cunningham, Nathalie Emmanuel, Iain Glen, Conleth Hill, Maisie Williams, and Isaac Hempstead Wright as well as show runners David Beinoff and D.B. Weinoff will discuss that epic conclusion and the show as a whole.

What Just Happened??! With Fred Savage (5:30 pm, Room 6DE)

Explore the latest episode of the FOX comedy/talk show with Savage hosting, centered around ‘The Flare’.

The Rookie (6 pm, July 19- Horton Grand Theatre)

Watch a talk with the creators of the ABC series as well as star Nathan Fillion.

The Rook (6 pm, July 19- Room 6A)

The Starz original, based off of of the Daniel O’Malley novel, follows the thrilling journey of British spy Myfanwy Thomas after she wakes up with no memory of what happened to her. Series stars Emma Greenwell, Olivia Munn, and Joely Richardson will be present.

Preacher (7 pm, July 19- Hall H)

The comic book adaptation will preview its final season and feature a chat with its stars and executive producers.

Project Bluebook (11 am, July 20- Indigo Ballroom)

The mysterious UFO drama from the History Channel is back to preview Season 2!

Enter the Star Trek Universe (11:30 am, July 20- Hall H)

Celebrate the many different forms of the Star Trek Universe including CBS All Access’s ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ as well as two new spinoffs.

The Simpsons (12 pm, July 20- Ballroom 20)

After 30 years of operating, the Simpsons is moving to Disney! Get a preview of what’s in store under their new ownership and the latest season.

The Good Place (12 pm, July 20- Indigo Ballroom)

The NBC god himself Michael Schur is coming to the Indigo Ballroom to talk with his cast and crew about the upcoming conclusion of his series.

The Expanse (1 pm, July 20- Indigo Ballroom)

After being cancelled by Syfy, the fan favorite series is back after being saved by Amazon! Get an early look at the fourth season with the cast.

Westworld III (1:15 pm, July 20- Hall H)

The HBO hit series will take the biggest seat in the house to tease its third installment with its all star cast.

The Orville (2:30 pm, July 20- Ballroom 20)

Seth McFarlane’s space comedy will provide an exclusive look at the upcoming season and a behind the scenes look from the cast.

Fresh off of the news that Season 4 will start production, the cast and crew are back at ComiCon for more demon fighting.

The Flash (5:45 pm, July 20- Ballroom 20)

Get a preview of season 6 of the hit superhero series, returning to air this fall.

Zachary Quinto and Ashleigh Cummings are coming to sunny San Diego to talk about their new show on AMC.

The Magicians (6 pm, July 20- Indigo Ballroom)

Magic is back in California. The cast and executive producers will helm a panel about their show and give sneak peeks at the upcoming season.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (7:45 pm, July 20- Room 6BCF)

Attention Nine-Niners! Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Dirk Blocker, Joel McKinnon Miller, and executive producers of the series Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici will be hosting a panel this year about their NBC comedy.

Supernatural (10:30 am, July 21- Hall H)

The series that we thought as eternal is finally coming to an end- so join the cast and creative team for one last panel before the final season premiering this fall.

Riverdale (11:45 am, July 21- Hall H)

Three years ago the premiere of Riverdale was held in a tiny room at ComiCon, where the audience had no idea what it would become. Now, they’re taking the stage inside the biggest room in the venue to preview its next season and that shocking season finale.

Mayans M.C. (1 pm, July 21- Hall H)

The ‘Sons of Anarchy’ spinoff has skyrocketed in popularity since its premiere, and now the cast and crew will preview the next season in Hall H.

Evil (12:45 pm, July 18- Ballroom 20)

Preview the psychological mystery airing on CBS in the fall. Star producers Robert and Michelle King will be joined by the series cast to discuss their upcoming project.

Undone (1:45 pm, July 18- Indigo Ballroom)

From the creators of Bojack Horsemen helms a new animated series starring Rosa Salazar, premiering on Amazon Prime Video later this year.

Nancy Drew (2 pm, July 18- Ballroom 20)

The upcoming CW drama follows a college-age Nancy Drew after a devastating tragedy. Join series stars and executive producers to chat about their new show!

Emergence (3 pm, July 18- Indigo Ballroom)

Explore ABC’s new thriller drama with a special preview of the pilot and a discussion with the cast and crew.

Stumptown (4:15 pm, July 18- Indigo Ballroom)

Get a first look of Cobie Smulders as graphic novel heroine Dex Parios, the best PI in Portland, and chat with the cast and crew.

His Dark Materials (4:45 pm, July 18- Hall H)

The highly anticipated HBO original will take the stage inside Hall H for a panel with the all star cast- James McAvoy, Dafne Keen, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Ruth Wilson. As an added plus, they’ll be signing autographs at 2:45.

Crank Yankers (6:45 pm, July 18- Indigo Ballroom)

The Comedy Central puppet show is back in business. “The world’s favorite profane puppets” are back to share a sneak preview, their favorite show moments, and how they had to change their show to fit digital-driven viewers.

Bless the Harts (11 am, July 19- Indigo Ballroom)

FOX’s new star studded comedy will show a special preview as well as a talk with the cast- Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, William Bell, Ike Barinholtz, and the Oscar winning executive producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

Veronica Mars (11:30 am, July 19- Ballroom 20)

Watch a screening of the first episode before its premiere on Hulu July 26! Then join the cast and crew for a discussion about the revival.

The Witcher (2:15 pm, July 19- Hall H)

Get a first glimpse of your newest Netflix obsession, based off of the best-selling fantasy books.

Solar Opposites (3 pm, July 19- Indigo Ballroom)

The new Hulu animated series from the Rick and Morty creators is coming to ComiCon to give a first look before its premiere next year.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (3:30 pm, July 19- Hall H)

The cast and creators will discuss how they made the prequel from puppetry to crazy visual effects. The series premieres in August on Netflix.

The Boys (3:30 pm, July 19- Ballroom 20)

The all star cast and executive producers Seth Rogen and Eric Kripke will all be in San Diego to preview their new Amazon Prime original, premiering on July 26.

Pennyworth (4:30 pm, July 19- Room 6BCF)

Epix presents a special look at ‘Pennyworth’, the origin story of Batman’s butler Alfred Pennyworth. Series stars and executive producers will all be present to discuss the upcoming show.

Carnival Row (4:45 pm, Ballroom 20)

The upcoming Amazon original explores a population of mythological creatures within a Victorian world. Stars Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevigne, and executive producers will all be present.

neXt (6:45 pm, July 19- Room 6DE)

Attend the world premiere of the FOX thriller slated for premiere in 2020. John Slattery plays a Silicon Valley tech mogul who teams with a cybercrime agent to battle what he created.

Infinity Train (10 am, July 20- Indigo Ballroom)

The Cartoon Network series launched a mini pilot in 2016, and after an incredible response has expanded it into a full series! Preview the mysteries, corgis, and puzzles before the official premiere.

Batwoman (10:30 am, July 20- Ballroom 20)

Watch a screening of the new CW series featuring the first ever lesbian superhero on TV and talk to the cast and creators about their historic show during a Q&A.

Snowpiercer (3 pm, July 20- Indigo Ballroom)

Based off of the film, ‘Snowpiercer’ follows themes of class division and survival after earth has turned into a frozen tundra. Get a preview at the panel before it premieres in 2020.
